I call it ObamaCare because this monstrosity of a bill was approved and signed into law by him. It happened on his watch and he, and only he, is responsible for the final outcome. I blame Democrats more so than I blame Republicans because they are the ones who pushed this bill through congress against the will of the People's majority and without any bipartisanship from the other side.

Yes, Romney made a huge mess in Massachusetts with his State run health-care. It's has failed at the State level and to think there will be any other outcome at the National level is ridiculous. Perhaps this was why his party was so against passage of this Bill. And to pass the bill without having even read it is so dangerous, so corrupt, so irresponsible ... so asinine. I cannot trust that government has our best interests in mind anymore. Both sides are only interested in power.

Both sides are guilty of buying off the corporate machine. In this particular bill, Obama made backroom deals with the pharmaceutical companies:

First off, I'm not sure why they call it "Obama care" or why you refer to it as "Obama’s Health Care Reform bill" because a conservative think tank called The Heritage Foundation wrote it and Mitt Romney took it and made it law in Massachusetts.

To respond to your post, you ask why it can't pass on it's own merit and if its so good, why is Obama bribing everyone to get it passed? The flip side to that is, why are the biggest recipients of Health Care Insurance lobbyists all voting against it? It seems to me, The Democrats bribe other Democrats to bid for it and the Republicans get bribed by the Health Insurance Corporations to vote against it. Doesn't sound like one side is any better than the other to me.

And yes, if it was so good, everyone should be voting for it. Politics will never let that happen. If the Republicans have a good idea, the Democrats can't let it pass and if the Democrats have a good idea, the Republicans can't let it pass. If they do, they make the other side look good.

Read the links though, very good stuff.
