Media Bias

My views on the blatant media bias in this country and it’s attempts to persuade opinion with misinformation and spin.

Are Mass Shootings and Guns Really the Issue?

mass shootings

There was another mass shooting last week at a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs in which 3 people were killed, and so here we are again, thrust into the gun control debate by the extreme left-wing progressive media and President Obama himself. They make a huge deal out of the one or two “mass” shootings that happen each year, yet on a daily basis all around the country, roughly 1300 people died from tobacco related products and 30 die as a result of drunk drivers (source: CDC). Why don’t…

Anti-Gun Supporters Consistently Use the Wrong Terms

If you’re going to debate someone on a particular topic, you better have the terminology right. In recent months, there has been a raging discussion on how best to curtail gun violence in America and both sides are pleading their case with passion and emotion. The problem is, most of the anti-gun supporters have their terminology wrong, and it makes them look uneducated and lack credibility. I’ll point out some of the more glaring mistakes so the people reading and listening to the progressive anti-gun agenda can be better informed….

Violent Crime in United States Down Sharply – 1992 Through 2010

Despite all the negative attention the mainstream media gives to isolated acts of violence, the facts clearly show violent crime in the United States is down sharply between the years 1992 and 2010. In fact, it’s remarkable. So remarkable, it’s hard to believe no agency, person, or organization wants to claim credit for such a heroic superman feat. Perhaps that’s because no one knows why violent crime is on the decline, but it’s unmistakable that something amazing has happened. And when I say decline, I’m not talking about a highly…

Worst Debate Moderator of All Time – Martha Raddatz

The worst debate moderator EVER is hands down, unequivocally, Martha Raddatz. I was squirming in my chair at how bad she was, and I was only 15 minutes into the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan before I stood up and walked away. Oh my goodness that was horrendous. Martha was attacking Ryan just as much as Joe Biden. This was an assault by the moderator! Unbiased? Haha, what a joke. I think it was after the first question that Martha Raddatz turned to Ryan and attacked…

New York Times on Trayvon Martin Shooting: Clear Bias

The New York Times has once again published a blog post of such heinous naivety and conjecture it borders upon absurdity. The author, Anthony Turner, apparently knows more about what happened on that dreadful night than the two people involved, and he wasn’t even there. The New York Times is obviously allowing its newsScape to be used as a racial baiting battleground that has no place on a major news outlet. Let’s dissect this New York Times posting … I felt betrayed that my own race would try to come…

Carbonite Drops Rush Limbaugh: Battle of “the sluts”

While Carbonite CEO David Friend backups up personal computers, he apparently doesn’t want to back up his decision to drop Carbonite’s advertisements on the Rush Limbaugh show because Rush called Ms. Fluke a “slut”. Strangely, David Friend is not interested in removing his advertising from the MSNBC Ed Schultz show who also referred to Laura Ingraham as a slut. I find this most intriguing. David Friend apparently doesn’t abide by principal when it comes to calling a woman a slut. Otherwise, why would he pull advertising on one show and…

President Woodrow Wilson was a Racist

No matter how hard the liberals and progressives try, the insidious omission of Woodrow Wilson’s racist policies and outspokenness does not make him a great president. No good in the world could ever right the wrong of racism, especially when coming from a President of the United States. And while Woodrow Wilson did succeed in passing many good laws, such as abolishing child labor, passing anti-trust laws, and creating an 8-hour work day for the railroad workers, it will never erase the fact that Woodrow Wilson was a racist. Having…
